Quackerjack , what’s a Quackerjack ! 

On the warm summer evening of Thursday July 16th  a hearty band  of the Irish American Society of the Hamptons members made their way west to East Islip‘s Fairfield Properties  Stadium to watch the Long Island Ducks demolish the Lancaster Pennsylvania Stormers.

With the antics of the Ducks s costumed mascot Quackerjack cavorting in front of our eyes and the inspirational ‘psyche up   ‘ music broadcast over the stadium s sound system in our ears, the nine inning game seemed to hit all the bases making this baseball game so enjoyable. 

No foul balls came our way, but the beer seemed refreshing and the Ice cream inviting,

All the best to the Ducks for the rest of their season and as they say, see you with IAS next year!
